Production Team

BT Hathaway turned his love of photography, music, and design into an unexpected live-streaming career as a result of the pandemic. This led him to video editing and provided an introduction to narrative and documentary filmmaking. 

In 2022 he wrote and directed the short "Waveland Requiem" which received recognition in a dozen festivals, while in the same year he produced and directed an operatic music video "I will go Far Away" which received similar acceptance at festivals. Since then, he has continued to hone his late in life craft with 48 Hour Film Project teams and other local commercial and narrative projects in the greater Providence, RI region. In 2023 he founded Waveland Productions, LLC, a filmmaking and video creation business based in Providence.

Prior to filmmaking, BT has had a 35 year professional career which helped him develop the people and organizational skills needed to build dynamic production teams which can also keep projects on time and on budget.

He lives in SE Massachusetts.
